StackyTacky is built on one simple rule: your data never leaves your device. There are no accounts, no servers, and nothing to collect. Everything below explains exactly what that means in practice.
Information We Collect
We collect nothing. StackyTacky has no sign-up, no user accounts, no names, no email addresses, and no location data. The strings you format, encode, hash, or convert — JSON snippets, Base64 payloads, timestamps, IP lookups — are processed entirely on your device and never transmitted to us.
How We Use Information
Since nothing is collected, nothing is used, analyzed, or sold. There is no behavioral tracking, no usage profiling, and no data pipeline of any kind. Every feature — the code formatter, the encoders, the network utilities, the timestamp converter — runs locally on your device.
Data Storage
Any input you paste or type is held only in the app's local memory or on-device storage for as long as you're using it. There is no cloud sync, no remote database, and no backend server that StackyTacky talks to.
Third-Party Services
StackyTacky does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. Network utilities like Ping, Traceroute, and public IP lookup query the destination you specify directly from your device — we don't sit in the middle or log the results.
Data Security
Because your data never travels to us, there's no server-side breach surface to worry about. Security is a matter of your device's own protections, which StackyTacky respects and never attempts to bypass.
Children's Privacy
StackyTacky does not knowingly or unknowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. As no data collection occurs at all, the app is compliant with COPPA by design.
Your Control
You are always in full control. Since nothing is stored remotely, deleting the app removes every trace of your activity — there are no backups, no linked accounts, and nothing left behind on our end.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect new features or clarify existing practices. The Effective Date above will always indicate the most recent revision.
